Standards and accessibility

  1. All content on this site that we generate is intended to be XHTML 1.0 transitional compliant. We use The W3C validator to verify compliance.
  2. This site has been tested and we believe it to comply with US Federal recommendation S.508
  3. The colour schemes used on this site are designed to meet accessibility recommendations. No property is marked by colour alone and all colour selections are colour against white or white against colour to ensure they are visible to colourblind users.
  4. The site design follows the recommandations of Mark Pilgrim's excellent online book.
  5. Accessibility testing was done with Bobby. Bobby rates the site 'A', meaning it is accessible. Bobby rates the mobile site 'AAA', the highest standard of excellence in accessibility. Some users may prefer to switch to the mobile edition of the site.
